Everything looks different
in black and white.

About
Behind the lens.
I am Yuvraj Singh Rathore, a photographer based in Udaipur, the City of Lakes. I shoot in black and white because it strips a scene down to what actually matters: light, shadow, form, and feeling. No distractions.
My subjects are whatever the day puts in front of me. A gathering of elders in their turbans. An empty village lane at dusk. Glass jars catching the last bit of light. A heritage gate standing still under monsoon clouds. Mountains, streets, rural life, architecture. If the frame feels right, the shutter clicks.
Udaipur is home, but the camera travels wherever the road goes. This site holds a handful of recent work. For the daily feed, the experiments, and the ones that almost got away, follow along on Instagram.
